On Wednesday 13th September, we will be showing the 2019 film “Fisherman’s Friends”, which tells the story of a cynical London music exective who hear a singing group of Cornish fishermen whilst on a stag weekend. He believes that they can achieve a top ten hit and sets out to convince them that he is right.
On Wednesday 11th October, we will be showing the 2022 sequel “Fisherman’s Friends: One for All, which continues the story after they have performed on the pyramis stage at Glastonbury and are now struggling with their second album. During a divisive tour of South Australia, they trace their ancestors and embrace a new community, discovering their musical DNA.
Our ticket price of £5 includes a cup of tea or coffee at the interval.
